Round 1 – January 29, 2012
Sumter National – Sumter, SC

Wow it was gorgeous dirt and gorgeous weather today. And as always SERMA does a great job with the Sumter enduro. I felt really pumped about the race and I actually rode well.

The first section wasn’t too nice to me today. The throttle cable housing came off the carb and caused the bike to be stuck wide open about four times – something that has never happened to me before. I went into section two 2 min late after Dad took care of the issue. It was a little better, and had to work out some arm pump issues. And from there on out the rest of the day was perfect. Awesome course. Just a little bad luck. Lets get ready for Round 2 at the Cherokee National. Between now and then I will be riding, testing, training, and mountain biking. It’s a long season and will be looking to rebound.

Braaaap!
